ACID Day 1 - 1/23/10

The day started off with the students pairing up and listening to a song on Youtube. They had to talk about why they like the song and then share their reasons with the class. Garrett and Marleny picked "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion.

The students then learned about 4/4 time signature and learned terms such as bpm (beats per minute). Bronson and Garrett stomped and clapped in participation for Chris' example to get them thinking about multiple layers and counting beats.

The students ended the day by putting together the "Secret Song" and blogging about their ACID experience so far.
